Huatulco (pronounced [waˈtulko] wah-TOOL-coe) ("Bahías de Huatulco"), centered around the town of La Crucecita (Popular town in Huatulco filled with traditions)., is a tourist development in Mexico. It is located on the Pacific coast of the state of Oaxaca. Huatulco's tourism industry is centered around its nine bays. Huatulco has a wide variety of accommodations from rooms for rent, small economy hotels, vacation condominiums, bed and breakfasts, along with several luxury resorts standing on the shores of Tangolunda Bay. The Camino Real, Las Brisas, Gala and Barceló are examples of the most popular larger resorts in the area. Huatulco Campo de Golf Tangolunda The Golf course itself is quite nice and challenging. From the blue tees, it's over 6800 yards and you get very little roll. The course is five minutes from the major hotels like Las Brisas, Gala, etc. However, it's not cheap. The green fees will set you back 760 pesos per person and the cart is 340 for 2 players = 930 / player or $93.00 USD. Most of the hotel do provide a discount. Las Brisas gives you 30% of the green fees. They really don't have tee times. If you go just before sunrise, golfing is a real pleasure. The weather in Huatulco is absolutely the best. |

Apple Vacations Online Quotes & Availability Pleasant Holidays Online Quotes & Availability “Our favourite restaurant in Huatulco” In 2007, Juan Ferra realized his dream of opening his own restaurant and we had two weeks in February 2008 to enjoy many meals at the Kristal Rose. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food is all very flavourful and fresh, as well as the cocktails made from scratch. We sampled several breakfast menu items, as well as many items on the dinner menu, and each one was very good. Juan offers dinner specials in addition to his regular menu which changes every few months and his chef likes to try new recipes so their cuisine is varied, and not all just Mexican food. This is not a place to go to if you are in a hurry…good food takes time, but it's well worth the wait. We tried shrimp, lobster, steak (cowboy and filet - both could be cut with a fork, they were so tender), ravioli, lasagne and red snapper with different types of sauces, as well as sampling their Waldorf, caesar, and cheese and tomato salads. Desserts ranged from cheesecake, strudel and ice cream. Service is excellent, the atmosphere is warm, and you are welcome to the restaurant in casual or dressy clothes. Definitely not a place to miss while you are in Huatulco... about a block from the square in La Crucecita... easy to find by taxi or walking. We look forward to new taste sensations in February 2009 at the Kristal Rose. |
