“Paradise!”We had an amazing time at the Grand! We switched from the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar (on the same grounds) to the Grand and it was a HUGE upgrade!
Pros: The food was wonderful! My husband enjoyed lobster for lunch and dinner. We were able to try many interesting dishes and the selection was great.
Our room was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall, it was a very nice room with a lot of space. The bathroom had his and hers sinks which was a nice touch.
The Star Friends made everything fun. We had a great time at Casino Night and at the main pool. We enjoyed the magic show as well.
The bars were great. The service was wonderful. The men working at the pool bar were extremely friendly and made hanging out at the bar a lot of fun!
Cons: This is a con of the location of the property and obviously not a reflection on this hotel but the water at the beach was VERY rocky! The sand was nice to walk on and we saw sea turtles at night on the beach. However, Iberostar has 5 properties there and you can take a short walk down the beach to get to water you can swim in.
