The area's facilities include a modern marina with 200 slips, shopping mall, quality international restaurants, three golf courses, a water park, two dolphin centers and miles of glistening white beaches. Riviera Nayarit's resort areas include Punta Mita, Nuevo Vallarta, Flamingos and Bucerias.

“Best HOTEL in Mexico - hands down”

Four Seasons Punta Mita

Outstanding service.
Incredible property.
Awsome amenities and activities.
Great kids program (I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old)
Food was good to great but outrageously overpriced. My only complaint is the price for food and drink. I can say with certainty that the lunch and supper bills were the highest i've paid to date (including top NY city restaurants and Paris).

“Riu Review”

Riu Jalisco

We just returned from our first trip here. The entertainment staff was excellent. They stayed busy with guests all day and at night there was entertainment in the theater. Everyone works really hard here. They are very accommodating to their guests. The only drawback was after a couple of days, we grew tired of the food but it was good. The pool was a bit dirty. Also, there are only 2 beers to choose from: Corona and dark. The resort grounds are beautiful. If I were to return I would choose a time when it was cooler. The heat was sweltering in early October. Also, if booking a trip be sure to book your transfers in advance because the timeshare people at the airport are like vultures. Overall it was a good deal for the price.

“Really Pleased with the Vallarta Palace”

We were at the Vallarta Palace Sept 13 - 20, 2008. This was our 7th visit to the Nuevo Vallarta area - we have stayed at the Riu Vallarta and the Riu Jalisco, the Allegro, and the Marival. Vallarta Palace was our favorite of all these resorts. Service, room, food, entertainment, drinks all excelled.

Service - the staff is all very cheerful and helpful, resort really attractive and spotlessly clean, service prompt. Appreciated the friendliness of every single staff member, drink service even on the beach was good, prompt, frequent and accurate. Staff members remembered us and made the extra effort to stop and chat.

Room - very nice, we enjoyed the jacuzzi several times, room decor was very attractive and new in appearance, furnishings upscale.

Food - Buffet for all breakfast except room service which we enjoyed almost daily. Lunch also buffet service. A la carte dinner at the Italian restaurant only, some table service and some buffet at the other restaurants - however the food was very good. A lot of attention to detail in all food service.

Entertainment - really a step up from the entertainment at many all-incusives. For one thing, the pre-show did not involve tourists' children - while I'm sure that is great for the kids and parents, it's not much fun for the rest of us. There were actual hired professionals doing the pre-shows. While not 100% top notch, still very good the majority of the time. Also live entertainment in the restaurants almost every night we were there, multiple live entertainment shows at the same time. Most of it very good. The entertainment staff doing the main shows in the evening were much better than the average all-inclusive.

Drinks well made, better labels and more selection available than many all-inclusives.

We had a couples massage and took the canal tour. We have been to the PV area so many times we don't really leave Nuevo often. Golf good as usual. Rainy a couple of days, but such low season advantages - the resort was very low occupancy and all restaurants still open and still live entertainment for small audience.

Very few children due to school being in session, a few, but not many. Still a nice family type atmosphere if that's what you want, not a party type crowd, quiet area. We had a great vacation, love the Palace, love Nuevo Vallarta. Of course, not the crystal blue water as in other locations due to the silt from the Sierra Madre mountains, but many miles of beach for walking. Great trip!
